Speechless.....

Words elude me right now.... imagine that! If a photo is worth a thousand words, here ya go. Guess it's time to go to bed here instead of camping!

Haircuts!

Both Levi & Charlie had too long of hair, so we gave them haircuts! Charlie is much happier and will enjoy the summer more, and Levi now looks more grown-up. Levi wasn't too impressed with the experience, and Charlie took it very well. Ellen Kane came and helped us with her sheep shears, as Charlie's hair is very thick underneath and clogs up regular clippers. Thank you Ellen!

Some cute little kids playing. Levi likes all the flowers Mommy planted in the barrels, don't know if they're better to eat than rocks and dirt?? =)

Mothers Day & Isabella's Birthday

On saturday before mother's day, LaZell had us all over for a fun lunch! She helped the bigger kids make fun treats, while us Moms and babies went garage saling; then we came back to have a yummy lunch together.

It was also Isabella Nighswonger's 3rd birthday, so we went to Zane & Brenda's for dinner and a party. Breanna and Isabella have lots of fun together.

New Paint

We've had some more beautiful weather, and Mark Coonrad painted the outside of our house for us! One giant step closer to being finished. We're thinking of a darker khaki for the trim, instead of the white- any ideas? It looks so much bigger with the lighter color, it was a dark cedar before.

It was a warm sunny day and we had enjoyed walking around our loop, so decided to Walk down to convention! There is a trail beside the road so it was a nice ride, and Levi was so occupied checking out the scenery that he left his hat on the whole trip!

More snow???

Jennifer Ford and her children came for dinner, they were up visiting from Haines, Alaska!

Amber, Noah, Naomi, Dawson, Levi, Bethany, Michael, Breanna, Jack

Breanna had so much fun with them all, and was so impressed that they had so many bigger sibblings that "all know how to read stories!"

Breanna & Bethany

Family photo after sunday morning meeting, thanks Garnett!

Charlie seemed a bit confused, just a few days ago it was in the 60's and so sunny!
Pretty crazy for the end of April, even up here!
Anchorage set a new record for biggest snowfall after April 1st.
It looked more like December than almost-May! By the way, this photo was taken at 9pm- we have lots of daylight right now!

Fun with Friends!

Today we went to Wonderland Park with Heather, Sheri, Garnett, Brenda, and their kids. We had a picnic and then played, it was so much fun!
Breanna, Anelise, Ryan, & Kendra
Levi absolutely loved the swing and couldn't stop laughing!

Showing Heidi my boots!

There is a fun place to go in Wasilla called "Bouncing Bears", they have wonderful things to jump and play on; and it completely wears all the kids out so they take wonderful naps!
Pink noses and cheeks from enjoying the sunny days!

Enjoying the lovely spring weather!

Carhartt & Denim Cuties!

We have had some wonderful spring weather and are enjoying spending time outside! It's been so beautiful and sunny that it's almost impossible to stay inside. The kids are getting some pink noses and cheeks that are quite cute! Both of the kids absolutely love our dog, Charlie, and he is quite impressed with all the attention. Levi loves the trees and especially when he realized how far they go up! He has a little pair of rubber boots that are a bit too big, but he absolutely loves them. Several times I have found him in the arctic-entry playing with them! He can't walk too well in them, though, especially outside on the uneven ground. And of course, he is being a normal little boy and "tasting" the rocks, leaves, and dirt when I'm not looking.
