Tree on the Roof in New York!

We flew into Boston and then drove to Justin & Bethaney's to spend the night and next day. Then we drove up to Lee & Jill's (Tyler's folks) who have had bad storms and got a tree on the roof! Tyler helped get it down, and it looks like the damage wasn't as bad as it appeared. Breanna & Levi had so much fun with Orianna and Lily, and were also excited to get to Grandpa & Grandma's to see them and Olivia and Victoria. The rest of the cousins will be here for the weekend, and also Aunt Hope & Uncle John (Lee's sister, she shares a birthday with Levi!). Both Breanna & Levi really like all the dogs. This computer connection is very slow, so I will just post the tree photos for now (for Lindsey, Clover, & Bet) and the rest when we get home.

Birthday Boy!

This will be quick and quite disorganized, we are trying to get out of here to catch our plane to New York for Tyler's brother Owen's wedding! Levi turned 1 on the 5th, he is really growing up quickly! Various recent photos here, just wonted to post them since we will be gone for a long time then at Wasilla convention when we get back!

Haircuts!

Both Levi & Charlie had too long of hair, so we gave them haircuts! Charlie is much happier and will enjoy the summer more, and Levi now looks more grown-up. Levi wasn't too impressed with the experience, and Charlie took it very well. Ellen Kane came and helped us with her sheep shears, as Charlie's hair is very thick underneath and clogs up regular clippers. Thank you Ellen!

Mothers Day & Isabella's Birthday

On saturday before mother's day, LaZell had us all over for a fun lunch! She helped the bigger kids make fun treats, while us Moms and babies went garage saling; then we came back to have a yummy lunch together.




It was also Isabella Nighswonger's 3rd birthday, so we went to Zane & Brenda's for dinner and a party. Breanna and Isabella have lots of fun together.

New Paint

We've had some more beautiful weather, and Mark Coonrad painted the outside of our house for us! One giant step closer to being finished. We're thinking of a darker khaki for the trim, instead of the white- any ideas? It looks so much bigger with the lighter color, it was a dark cedar before.





It was a warm sunny day and we had enjoyed walking around our loop, so decided to Walk down to convention! There is a trail beside the road so it was a nice ride, and Levi was so occupied checking out the scenery that he left his hat on the whole trip!
